History of Virginia HOSA
Virginia HOSA is a viable student organization in our state. The Constitutional Convention that was held March 1980, in Charlottesville, Virginia formally established the Virginia Health Occupations Students Association.
At the VA HOSA Constitutional Convention held in Charlottesville, Virginia on March 8–9, 1980, more than 433 students and advisors attended. At this Convention, bylaws were officially adopted, and the delegates voted to affiliate with National HOSA. Fifty-three chapters were chartered with 1,584 students as members.
