Virginia HOSA-FHP invites you to consider a position on the Board.

The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership by addressing organizational challenges and guiding the VA HOSA-FHP staff on potential solutions. Members serve as vital liaisons for their respective regions, gathering feedback and sharing insights to inform decisions of the organization. This role is fundamental to the continued success and growth of our association.

The Virginia HOSA-FHP Board of Directors shall be comprised of the following:

• One representative from each of the VDOE Superintendent’s eight (8) regions who are currently Virginia HOSA-FHP affiliated secondary school chapter advisors or CTE administrators.
• One business and industry representative from each of the VDOE Superintendent’s eight (8) regions.
• One Virginia HOSA Alumni who is currently affiliated Alumni with HOSA.
• The Virginia HOSA State Officer President.
• Virginia HOSA State Advisor (non-voting, consulting).
• VDOE, Health and Medical Sciences Specialist (non-voting, consulting).
• VAHAMSEA President (non-voting, consulting)

  For the 2026-2027 term, the following positions are open: 

• Local Chapter Advisor or CTE administrator from Superintendent’s Regions: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8
• Business and Industry Representatives from Superintendent’s Regions:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8
• One VA HOSA-FHP Alumni RepresentativeDue to this being a special election, the terms will be for 1-2 years.
